A procedure that allows you to precisely reshape and redefine the shape and size of almost any area of the body. With this procedure, Dr. Manoloudakis removes excess fat from specific areas (e.g. arms, buttocks, inner thighs, etc.) or generalized fat deposits in larger areas (e.g. abdomen).

The surgery can be performed either alone or in combination with another surgery to perfect the final result (e.g. liposuction and abdominoplasty or liposuction and gynecomastia surgery).
The areas that can be applied are the following: neck, chest, arms, abdomen, back and sides of the torso, thighs, buttocks, knees.
Adult men and women who want to improve specific areas of the body. Liposuction is ideal in the following cases:
- localized fat, which does not respond to diet and exercise.
- when specific areas of the body are disproportionate to the rest.
- someone is close to their desired body weight and cannot achieve it, despite all efforts.
It usually lasts 2-3 hours depending on the case and is performed with local anesthesia and sedation. Microscopic incisions allow special liposuction cannulas to remove excess fat with the special PAL machine (power assisted liposuction). The results are immediately visible and sometimes truly spectacular. After the operation you return home the same day.
In most cases, your doctor will ask you to avoid strenuous exercise and heavy lifting for about 4 weeks. The swelling and bruising that normally occur after surgery will gradually subside within the first 6-8 weeks. You will wear a corset – if this is required in your case – for about 4 weeks. Most patients return to work within the first 7-14 days.
- Patients should refrain from lifting weights >10 kg and exercising/exercising for 4 weeks.
- It is normal to have swelling and bruising, which gradually subside in the first 6 weeks.
- Most patients return to their activities approximately 2 weeks after surgery.
- Immediately after the surgery, you will wear a corset that we will provide you. This corset should not be removed for the first 4-6 weeks after the surgery.
